Ready to celebrate being another fabulous year older, Nicole Richie and a gaggle of friends were out at Katsuya in Studio City, CA on Friday (September 21) to ring in her 31st birthday.
Looking casually chic for her afternoon out, the former “Fashion Star” mentor rocked black short shorts, a grey button up, and red booties.
Grateful for the well wishes from her friends and fans, Nicole tweeted, “THANK YOU for all the birthday wishes!! I feel so much wiser. Oh 30-year-olds, they're so silly....”
Speaking of well wishes, one of Richie’s dearest friends, Kim Kardashian, also took used social media page to give some birthday love.
The E! reality star posted a picture of the two style icons from 1995, captioned simply with "Happy birthday to my friend Nicole Richie. Many of you [may] not know that we've known each other for many years. I found this pic of us at Nicole's 14th birthday party! Awww, the memories!"
