The courts have spoken, but you might be surprised by what they said!
Former Nickleodeon star Omar Gooding was arrested last year -- ZOMG, we can't believe 2013 was last year -- for suspicion of DUI and possession of weed. The Wild & Crazy Kids host made a plea deal in court, though, and managed to get the DUI count dropped.
He pled "no contest" to one charge of reckless driving and the judge sentenced him to two years of probation!
Omar will also be forced to attend court-ordered Alcoholics Anonymous/Narcotics Anonymous classes.
What do U think? Was the punishment too light for the crime?
Either way, we hope Omar learned his lesson. Driving while under the influence of drinking and/or doing drugs is NEVER cool!
