To create a realistic scene of a pilot guiding an airliner safely to the ground—expect, you know, upside down—Denzel Washington trained in a professional flight simulator.
A featurette included on the upcoming Blu-ray and DVD of "Flight" gives the audience an intimate look at the kind of training Washington did to prepare for the role of Whip Whitaker by joining his co-star Brian Geraghty as he revisits the flight simulator he trained on as well.
