"Transformers: Age of Extinction" Continues Box Office Domination

For the second week in a row, "Transformers: Age of Extinction" was a hit with movie-goers, landing on top at the box office for the Fourth of July weekend.

The latest installment in the franchise, which stars Mark Wahlberg, nabbed $10.6 million in sales on Friday and will end the weekend with $36 million plus in receipts, making the movie the first film to hold the top spot for consecutive weeks so far this summer.

Coming in at number two was "Tammy." The latest Melissa McCarthy comedy took in $6.4 million on Friday, and is on track to take in $21 million for the three day period.

Rounding out the top five in earmarked earning are the Channing Tatum/Jonah Hill action comedy "22 Jump Street" ($9.4 million) in third, the horror film "Deliver Us from Evil" ($9.5 million) in fourth and Dreamworks' "How to Train Your Dragon 2" ($8.7 million) in fifth.
