Jenni Rivera’s Plane Crash Cause Revealed! New Report Puts The Blame Partially On The Pilots!

Next week marks the one year anniversary since the tragic death of Latin music star Jenni Rivera. We still cannot believe she’s really gone…

Authorities are JUST now releasing their findings for what caused her plane to crash and are citing several different factors for what went wrong, including the age of the pilots!

At the controls that night were 78-year-old Miguel Pérez Soto and 21-year-old Alejandro Torres. According to Mexico's General Civil Aviation Administration, these men were at both ends in the extremes of the span of life - one with very little experience and the other nearing 80 and with no U.S. license to carry passengers on a commercial flight AND a restriction to “visual flight rules” or VFR.

What that means is Soto was NOT authorized for the instrument-controlled flying that can be necessary in low visibility situations. The report found that the plane was indeed at an instrumental flying altitude when it went down.

Wow…

Also being reported is the age of the aircraft - more than 43 years old! The family members of the four passengers who perished with Jenni on the plane are now suing the owner of the plane, Starwood Enterprises, for negligence.

Their case will be heard in a Los Angeles courtroom.

To hear all of these new details makes this tragedy even sadder.

Rest in peace, Jenni!
