Air Pollution Rule Gets Sympathy from Supreme Court Justices

Supreme Court justices on Tuesday expressed sympathy for the Environmental Protection Agency’s approach to air pollution that crosses state lines, which focuses on using the most cost-effective methods to cut power-plant emissions even if doing so disproportionately burdens states that already have made strides toward curbing pollution.
