REJOICE!!!
This season will not be the end of How I Met Your Mother because their spinoff pilot was a hit!!!
CBS gave a commitment to making the pilot of their new show, which will be different in every way, and will be called How I Met Your Dad.
More good news is that HIMYD will be written and produced by the SAME people as HIMYM, Carter Bays and Craig Thomas, so the same level of HIGHlarity will still be there! Emily Spivey, of Up All Night will also be joining their team.
So far, CBS’s commitment is ONLY for the pilot, but we have a feeling that once they see it’s brazilliance, they’ll go for the whole season!
