As Universal adapts A.J. Lieberman and Nick Thornborrow’s graphic novel “Term Life” for the big screen, “Can a Song Save Your Life” actress Hailee Steinfeld joins Vince Vaughn in the action comedy.
Per the synopsis: ‘“Term Life’ centers on a low-life whom everybody -- including mob bosses, contract killers and dirty cops -- wants dead. In a rare act of selflessness (and desperation), the man takes out a million-dollar term life insurance policy to benefit his estranged daughter, but soon after, he realizes it doesn’t take effect for 21 days.”
The movie adaptation follows the graphic novel’s nonlinear story about the father (Vaughn) attempting to survive his enemies while also trying his hand at being a responsible dad for the sake of his daughter (Steinfeld).
