Traveling quite a ways to visit her Japanese fans, Carly Rae Jepsen attended the MTV Video Music Awards Japan 2013 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba on Saturday (June 22).
The "Call Me Maybe" singer was all dolled up in a shiny sleeveless pink dress, black heels, and a matching clutch as she posed for pics on the red carpet.
Also performing at the event, the 27-year-old pop star is up for Album of the Year and Best New Artist trophies.
Later, Carly shared the good news, tweeting, "Wow Japan. Thank you so much! I won BEST NEW ARTIST VIDEO!!!! So happy! @MTV_Japan #VMAJ."
