Uh-oh! Jerry Seinfeld may want to start thinking about freshening up his comedy routine!
Apparently, during his recent set at the Stand Up For a Cure benefit concert, held at Madison Square Garden in New York Wednesday night, his jokes had audience members dozing off instead of laughing!
Or, at least one very famous audience member, if we're being specific: Martha Stewart!
A witness who says they were sitting behind her reported:
“She's sleeping through the concert.”
Oopsie daisy!
To be fair, the domestic goddess DID own up to her tired eyes later on the evening, and was quick to assert that her sleepiness had nothing to do with Jerry's comedic stylingz!
Instead, she claims:
“Can’t go anywhere! I did catch myself doze off — nothing to do with the great comedy of Seinfeld — must have been the 5 a.m. wake-up call for the ‘Today’ show that morning! And the back-to-back meetings all day.”
Hey! Fair enough!
But regardless of her busy schedule, we think those lids of hers would have managed to stay open if it were Ryan Gosling on that stage, don't you?!
