Gwyneth Paltrow was named People magazine’s “Most Beautiful” and graces the cover of the coveted issue this week.

The Oscar winning actress takes over the honor from Beyonce’, who was awarded the title last year. Paltrow dishes inside the magazine about her beauty regimen , as well as what makes her feel beautiful. The answer to that later part is her family of course, whom she also chats about in the mag. Another interesting little fact about the lovely Gwyneth is that she actually hates to work out, despite the fact that she is known for being pals with Tracy Anderson and succumbs to her grueling workouts to help keep her bod looking the way it does. Then there is the whole she is totally in touch with fashion thing that makes you like her too. For many other reasons as to why she was chosen for People’s coveted title be sure to pick up your copy this Friday when it hits newsstands. It is very interesting that the author/actress was given this honor when just a week ago Star magazine named her Hollywood’s “Most Hated” celebrity.
Paltrow is joined by a slew of other beautiful famous ladies including Kerry Washington, Amanda Seyfried, Zooey Deschanel, Jennifer Lawrence, Halle Berry and Pink just to name a few. The yearly issue focuses not only on the physical beauty of famous ladies but also the inner beauty. It is one of my favorite issues of the year but I have to say I was very surprised by the choice. I mean sure Gwyneth is pretty but the most beautiful, I don’t know about that. I can think of a few others that I would give that honor to before her. I mean how about Sofia Vergara or Christina Hendricks? Are they not famous enough to earn the coveted spot? The trend does seem to be that the honor is awarded to only Hollywood’s A-list stars, which I think is kind of crap. Christina is one of the most beautiful women in the world if you ask me but People magazine didn’t ask me now did they.
