Will Kopelman and Drew Barrymore welcomed a baby girl last week. The little bundle of joy is named Olive Barrymore Kopelman, what a pretty name.
Little Olive was born on September 26th, yes the parents managed to keep her a secret for at least a few days which must have been very nice for them. Drew and Will never actually confirmed the pregnancy, although it clearly became obvious, so it is no surprise they are not releasing any details about the birth of their baby girl. They kept quiet the whole time Barrymore was preggers about the unborn child did anyone really expect them to change their tune now that she is here, nope me neither.
The new parents released this statement in regards to their daughter.
“We are proud to announce the birth of our daughter, Olive Barrymore Kopelman, born September 26th, healthy, happy and welcomed by the whole family. Thank you for respecting our privacy during this most special time in our lives.”
Drew and Will were married this June. At the very private ceremony she nicely concealed her growing belly. This is the first child for both Barrymore and Kopelman who got engaged this past winter in January after dating for about two years. Having a family with her new husband was something that Drew actually admitted to Jay Leno on The Tonight Show earlier this year. In fact she said she hoped to have multiple children with her man, looks like she is well on her way to making that dream a reality.
From wild child star to down to earth low key keep me out of the spotlight mom boy how times have changed huh. Barrymore has certainly had her trials and tribulations in her life but the 35-year beauty seems to have made a happy little family for herself. This is one Hollywood couple I am rooting for to go the distance, Drew deserves to have a happy ending in my book. I am a big fan of hers always have been.
Congrats go out to Drew Barrymore and her husband Will Kopeleman on the newest addition to their family Olive. What are the odds that we will get to see pics of the little precious girl any times soon? I am going to say slim to none Drew isn’t really the sell my baby pics to the highest magazine bidder if you know what I mean.
