The death of the legendary actor and comedian Robin Williams at age 63 has brought forth an outpouring of reactions, condolences and tributes from public figures and celebrities all over the world through Twitter and other social media. The sad news broke on August 11th that police had found Robin Williams’ in his home in Marin County, California, where he was unresponsive and pronounced dead at the scene, as reported by numerous major media outlets. The Marin County Sheriff’s Office made public a report in which the coroner’s division says the death is a suspected suicide due to asphyxia. His publicist Mara Buxbaum issued a statement which said in part that Robin Williams “has been battling severe depression of late. This is a tragic and sudden loss.”
