GM Slapped With Fine for Failing to Respond to Regulator’s Questions

Federal auto safety regulators are slapping General Motors Co. with a $7,000-a-day fine for failing to respond to questions about its ignition-switch recall, the U.S. agency said in a letter to the nation's largest auto maker.
