Reprising his sci-fi role, Vin Diesel appears in a new trailer for "Riddick" released on Saturday (August 3).
Next in the series of films that include "Pitch Black" and "The Chronicles of Riddick," the story follows the title character as he's left for dead on a sun-scorched planet, inhabited by an alien race of predators.
Directed by David Twohy, the film's cast also includes Karl Urban, Katee Sackhoff, Dave Bautista, and Nolan Gerard Funk.
Check out the trailer below, in which the "Fast & Furious" star takes on some nightmarish monsters. "Riddick" hits theaters on September 6th.
