"Anchorman" Gets Its Own Exhibit at the Newseum

As the highly anticipated sequel continues production, "Anchorman" will get its own exhibit at the Newseum in Washington, D.C. this fall.

Back in 2004, the comedy starring Will Ferrell poked fun at the 1970s local television news, featuring a legendary anchorman whose world is uprooted when a female reporter is introduced to the team.

In the exhibit, costumes worn by the Channel 4 evening news team, Ron Burgundy's jazz flute, and whip used by rival anchorman Arturo Mendez will be on display. Additionally, the KVWN-TV news set will be recreated for fans to take photos inside.

During their visit, newseum-goers can shoot their own Anchorman-themed TV spot at a Be a TV Reporter station inside. Anchorman: The Exhibit will run from November 14, 2013 to August 31, 2014.
