Widower Of Dead Smoker Gets $1.2 Million Award

Cigarette makers claimed Helen Cohen lived to a ripe old age, but a Florida jury has awarded more than $1.2 million in damages to her widower after discounting the comparative fault of the smoker, family attorneys said. Cohen was 81 when she died of lung cancer in 2006 after smoking for more than 50 years.
