We have a busy Survivor Caramoan reap of Episode 12 which featured a double-boot with two Tribal Councils. So let us begin on Night 30 as the gang returns to Camp Enil Edam after booting Malcolm. Reynold and Eddie are running out of allies and options. Cochran is plotting to take over The Game, ready to make some ′big moves′ when needed.
Day 31 and tree-mail arrives announcing another Immunity Challenge. The former ′Stealth′ alliance is already targeting Reynold to be their next victim. The IC event is an endurance one. Each player must stand on a triangular perch off shore. Every 15 minutes, the players will move up to the next level until the third which is just 4 inches wide. Not only are the perches floating, making them unstable, but there is also a strong breeze that is gusting, too. There is also a reward for the winner, a clue to the hidden immunity idol. Shortly after they begin, Jeff Probst offers a bribe of milk and donuts. Eddie and Erik bailout.
After 15 minutes, the rest move up to the second level of the perches. Jeff offers another bribe, hotdogs and soda pop, which Cochran goes for. At the 30-minute mark, the remaining players are on the top. Dawn does not last long, followed by Sherri. Reynold twists and turns, recovering twice but his luck runs out and he is out of the competition. This leaves Andrea and Brenda, who discuss which should win. But Brenda is not willing to just take a fall. So they fight it out for another two-and-half hours! They then decide to up the ante by switching to just one leg on the perches. Brenda loses the event to Andrea.
Back at camp, Reynold knows he is in big trouble. Meanwhile, the rest go idol hunting after Andrea reads the clue to her allies. Erik finds the idol and gives it to Andrea. Cochran is shocked by this. Andrea then begins chatting up the others about blindsiding Brenda. This shocks Dawn who is still a bag of strained nerves.
At Tribal Council, Eddie makes excuses for his bailing out for donuts. Jeff asks Andrea and Brenda about why they fought so long after Reynold was out? Reynold offers his vote to help a ′big move′ and Cochran says that the time is coming for one. Dawn says she is becoming more paranoid. Andrea says that she is worried about her allies and agrees that it is time to start thinking about the end-game. It is time to vote. Reynold goes with 3 votes. Eddie got two and he and Reynold split their votes between Erik and Sherri. Returning to camp, Andrea talks with Cochran about booting Brenda and Dawn next, assuring him that she has Eddie wrapped around her finger. But Dawn and Brenda tell Cochran they want Eddie gone next and Brenda has concerns about Andrea.
Day 33 and another Immunity Challenge. This time, the players must move a buoy along a rope which is twisted about a water obstacle. At the end are keys secured by several knots. Once untied, the keys open a locked case holding ladder puzzle pieces. The first to build their ladder and climb to the top of their platform wins. Brenda and Erik get an early lead. Then Andrea closes with them, but she has trouble building the ladder. Erik makes a huge comeback and breezes to victory.
Back at camp, Andrea starts pushing hard to blindside Brenda. She tells Eddie that he is safe. Cochran talks with the others about the Andrea-Eddie sub-alliance. They decide to split their vote in case Andrea plays her idol. Andrea tries to bring Erik on board with her plans. Erik is feeling powerful finally in The Game.
At Tribal Council, Eddie says that tonight may see a blindside. Brenda tells all that people are lying. Sherri agrees and Cochran admits to telling a few lies himself. Andrea admits to having the idol and says she may play it. But after the voting, which we see Brenda and Andrea trading ballots against each other, Andrea decides not to play the idol. This is her undoing as she gets the boot with 3 votes. Eddie and Brenda each got two.
So ends our recap of Episode 12 of Survivor Caramoan. Spoilers for next week show Cochran facing plots and conspiracies. Is he the next target? Meanwhile, Erik gets hungry and needs food.
