As I am sure you are all well aware by now that last night was the Met Gala, which is basically Oscar night for the fashion world. Hollywood’s It crowd was in attendance and it what all about who was wearing what.

Two people who met for the first time were Kim Kardashian and Madonna and thanks to Kim K her millions of followers got to see what that meeting looked like. In honor of these two not only being in the same room but actually taking a pic together, they have been chosen as Right Celebrity’s Caption This photo contest for the week, woohoo.
Before I get too into this hot topic, let me refresh your memory on how our Caption This contest works. Speaking of two cents on this topic, let me share mine with you. First of all this was Kim’s first time in attendance at the event. I am thinking that being on the arm of Kanye West might have done the trick to finally score her an invite. Anyway, I am a little surprised that Madonna would pose for this kind of up close and personal picture with Kardashian. However since the hit singer did collaborate with West, perhaps his influence got his girlfriend the posed shot. I have to admit it is a freaking fabulous shot. Granted Kim looks way more happy to be getting a shot with Madge then she does with her but we have come to he conclusion that Madonna always looks like that.
In terms of their looks for the night. The reality TV star certainly took a risk with her wallpaper floral looking dressand slicked back hair. Personally I was not a fan and think she could have chosen better for her first time at the event. Madonna on the other hand killed it, as usual. The night was all about bringing the punk and edge and she did just that, love her!
