Cervantes will return to workers comp appellate court

Administrative Law Judge Manuel J. Cervantes has been appointed to the Minnesota Workers’ Compensation Court of Appeals, to replace Judge Thomas L. Johnson, whose term recently expired.

Cervantes formerly served on the court from 1986 to 1992.  He was a referee in Ramsey County Family Court from 1992 to 2002, city attorney for St. Paul from 2002 to 2006; assistant attorney general from 2006 to 2008, and has served as an administrative law judge since 2008. He received his J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School in 1980.
