Model Maggie Rizer Pregnant With Second Child
Maggie Rizer and her husband Alex Mehran will welcome their second child early next spring.
The baby, which is another boy, is due March 23 and will be the little brother for the couple’s son Zander, 11 months.
Maggie said having her sons be so close in age “will be just about the sweetest thing in the world. A made-for-you best friend. We feel incredibly blessed.”
She said of her son, Zander, “He’s hysterical. He’s happy. He’s standing by himself now, clapping and waving.”
The blonde beauty adds, “It’s so amazing that they come out as blobs and they develop into these real little people with great personalities.”
Maggie said she adores children but is not thrilled about the pregnancy part, explaining, “I’m not that girl that’s like, ‘I love it, I can embrace it,’” she says with a laugh. “I’m like, ‘When is it going to end?’”
Rizer, 34, grew up with four siblings and hopes to to have a large family too. The model stated, “Alex and I always wanted a big family. We want to have as many kids as we can — within reason.”
The pregnancy news follows on the heels of the couple’s devastating loss of the family’s golden retriever, Bea, who died recently on a flight.
