Lady Gaga & Die Antwoord In Twitter War Over “Fatty Boom Boom” (VIDEO)
Lady Gaga has been slammed by the quirky South African rappers Die Antwoord in an online video featuring someone dressed up as the singer.
The Gaga double is shown in a meat dress looking bored as she gets a tour of South Africa, when she comes upon Die Antwoord.
“Look at their freaky fashion!” she says. “I should get them to open for me.”
After her driver is held up, Gaga runs down the street where she gets a gynecological exam and the pulls a prawn from her vagina. In the end she is eaten by a lion.
Gaga obviously took offense to the video “Fatty Boom Boom”, tweeting on Wednesday, “I fink u freaky but you don’t have a hit. hundred thousand tIckets sold in SA. #thatsmyshit. i guess its not a good idea to tell someone you’re a fan. never mind! we get it, you’re not a little monster. WE GOT IT.”
Die Antwoord responded on Facebook with the message, “lady…even tho u r ‘larger’ than us…we still cooler than u…plus we don’t have prawns in our private parts…haha!”
Gaga replied with the warning, “Back off sweetie.”
Die Antwoord was actually asked by Lady Gaga to open her latest tour, but the band declined and took offense at her perception of their music and style.
