Jessica and Ashlee Simpson's family has seen their fair share of drama, but we never saw THIS coming!
Their parents are getting a divorce and sources say it's because Joe Simpson has come out of the closet!
His wife, Tina, filed the papers in Texas at the end of September and cited "discord or conflict of personalities."
If he's attracted to men, we can definitely see where the conflict comes from! An insider has explained:
"Joe got the family together about two months ago and came out of the closet. He told them that he’d tried to continue in his marriage to Tina, but he couldn’t go on any longer and deny the fact that he had these feelings for men. Joe said it wasn’t fair to her, and it wasn’t fair to him.”
And that's not the only rumor floating around about the 54-year-old pastor-turned-manager. He may have already found a 20-something boy toy to keep him company too!
Remember that DUI he got last August? Someone is suggesting he had his new man in the car with him at the time, saying:
“The police report stated that there was someone else in the car with Joe. Some reports have stated it was Tina, but now the belief is that it may well have been a boyfriend.”
If this is all true, then all we can say is...welcome to the club, Joe!
We're glad you finally decided to be honest with yourself and accept who you are. Better late than never, right?
And if its not true... eh, don't sweat it, Joe. Part of being in the biz, rumors like this flying around. Good if you could set things straight one way or the other though.
