Bristol Palin “Suspicious Package” Sent To DWTS Set Investigated By FBI
The FBI and LAPD have been called in after “Dancing With The Stars” contestant Bristol Palin, who is the daughter of Sarah Palin, received a suspicious package at the CBS studio in West Hollywood last week.
The package containing a white powdery substance addressed to Bristol was opened at the studio, but it was the threatening letter attached that has caused the most concern with the cast and crew of the dancing competition show.
The note demanded that show producers remove Bristol Palin from the show or else.
Initial tests revealed the white powder was not a harmful substance, but investigators are taking the threat very seriously and are tracking down the sender.
Of course this isn’t the first time Bristol has received this type of threat. In 2010, CBS received a suspicious letter containing a similar threat to remove Palin from the show.
The 15th season of “Dancing with the Stars” is the All Star competition, which brings back former popular contestants from past shows.
Palin is competing against the likes of Kirstie Alley, Emmitt Smith, Drew Lachey and Kelly Monaco.
The incident is being investigated and will be treated as a serious threat, though it’s not yet known if the perpetrator is the same person who sent Palin threatening letters during her first run on the show.
