The Situation, a.k.a. Mike Sorrentino was arrested earlier this week after cops responded to a disturbance at his family's tanning salon and found him engaged in fisticuffs with his own brother!!

What we didn't know then is that he may have had his butt kicked in the process!!!

Cameras caught the reality star today after he posted his $500 bail and all we can say is YIKES! Mike's face was puffy, bruised, and beaten... and his hand was bandaged as well!

The G portion of GTL is paying off for the former Jersey Shore cast member, as those guns are HUGE, but The Sitch's face looks like was just whacked with Thor's hammer.

Poor guy! We hope he recovers quickly!
