Girl has had her troubles, but that doesn't mean she's a rotten egg!
Lindsay Lohan is trying to rebuild her precarious reputation after her jewelry theft shenanigans and years of questionable conduct...
And girl wants us to know that she's not "bad" per say, she's just surrounded herself with not-so-nice people in the past who influenced her behavior!
During a recent interview, Lilo expressed:
"I was being hounded a lot and didn’t know what to do and didn’t want to listen to anyone. At the age when I would have been in college I was in Los Angeles living by myself and I didn’t have the best people with the best intentions around me. It’s hard for me to say ‘no’ to someone I love and I really don’t like to notice the bad in people and I’ve had to work on that because not everyone has your best interests at heart. When you reach a certain point of fame, people are willing to do whatever you ask them to do and are afraid to say no. That has a lot to do with living in excess and if you don’t have the right people around you then you’re never going to learn when to stop."

And we're sure her tendency to gravitate toward people who use her for her money and celeb status has NOTHING to do with how she was raised by fame-loving parents...
Sigh.
