Client punished for lawyers' sins
Calling her punishment of WellStar Health System "the only fair and just resolution of this case given the egregious conduct of the defendant," a Georgia judge has struck the hospital's answer to a medical malpractice case and granted a default judgment to the plaintiff as a sanction for defense counsel interfering with an expert witness's testimony.
